Books: Science fiction is great but not too far out there. I love books that I can't figure out the ending after reading the first chapter.   My very favorite books are those set in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Full of wonderful details about that time period.

Favorite Newspapers: The Atlanta Journal and the New York Times.

Favorite Magazines: Threads, I really enjoy needlework, but then all the rest are cooking related. My favs are Fine Cooking, Cooks Illustrated, Tea Time and Cooking Pleasures. Got to have those Southern magazines, such as Southern Lady and Taste of the South.

Movies: Love tear jerkers. With a box of tissues in hand, I am always ready for that old good cry while watching a movie. Thrillers are fun also, if like the books, I enjoy the ones where the end isn't so obvious.

Collections: Cookbooks, china and teapots

Music: Religious and Classical

My day.......

First thing each morning I thank God for giving me another day and pray I will use it wisely.

Second, I kiss my hubby good morning and tell him I love him.  Now my day is ready for whatever may come.

Thirdly, I must talk to my sister. She lives in another town, so we speak by phone and we do email each other. Hearing her voice each day is a blessing I will never take for granted.

The remainder of my day seems to be filled remembering not to bug my hubby who works virtual from home. He is a glabal adminstrator with a large computer corporation and after 43 years of going into the office and traveling, he is now able to work from home. I am a big talker and knowing he is nearby in his computer room, it is very difficult for me not to walk in and begin chattering away. LOL!

I do keep busy in the kitchen and I design website along with making computer graphics which I offer on my graphics web site.  I also answer cooking related questions via email.

After hubby has completed his work day and I can make a little noise, I can then play my piano or organ and do all that talking that I have been holding back all day.  The hours of the day seem to fly by quickly, even more so the older I get.

At night I want uninterrupted hours to spend with my hubby. We are together all day, every day, so it is wonderful that we enjoy each other's company.

True love is grand..........
